Job Responsibilities for a Digital Delivery Manager:

  • Delivers client software development projects with tightly constrained budgets, time and scope
  • Continuously monitors all projects and is ultimately accountable for delivery excellence and profitability of all of Achieves delivery services while ensuring business outcomes are realized
  • Apply agile software development and project management methodologies to the delivery of client projects
  • Oversee and coordinate the execution of multiple concurrent projects to ensure that PM, QA and engineering teams are successfully delivering on contractual requirements
  • Continuously monitor the status of all projects and work closely with each department to drive continuous improvements to the delivery process to reduce costs and/or increase delivery velocity
  • Accountable for overall client relationship experience, cross-functional delivery integration and end-to-end delivery quality
  • Ensures all client communication by the team expresses our dedication to quality, accuracy and timeliness
  • Monitors the status of all projects to ensure that all deadlines and milestones are being met while maintaining a high level of quality within the time and budget of the contract
  • Coordinates activities between the delivery team and appropriate client stakeholders
  • Is the first escalation point for client related issues that cannot be resolved by the PM

Knowledge and Expectations of the Digital Delivery Manager:

  • Works with PMs to ensure internal project reports to senior management provide valuable information
  • Develops and provides regular reports on the effectiveness, utilization and performance of the delivery team
  • Develops KPIs and other metrics to assess the effectiveness of our continuous improvement while guiding decision making on future areas for improvement
  • Strong agile skills in services/agency context dealing with external clients Ability to balance process with the unique needs of the client and contractual obligations
  • Comfortable, poised and affable with senior level executives of both Achieve and clients

Requirements

  • BS degree in Information Technology, Business or another related technical field
  • 10+ years in IT delivery leadership experience
  • 2+ years of experience of enterprise software delivery at a services organization
  • Strong knowledge and/or certifications in agile methodologies, PM and QA
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
